Iran mineral, industrial exports exceed $2.4b

TEHRAN – Iran’s industrial and mineral exports surpassed $2.42 billion in the first season of current Iranian year (started March 21), the Ministry of Industries and Mines reported here on Wednesday.

Of the figure, $747.8 million and $410.7 million are respectively related to the petrochemicals and gas condensates, accounting for some 38 percent of the quarter’s non-oil exports.
Given 24 percent, 13 percent, 12 percent, 11 percent, and 6.5 percent, products of minerals, metals, chemical industries, vegetative, and plastics and caoutchouc correspondingly are the main export-bound products which are accounted for 66 percent of whole exports.
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), Iraq, China, Japan, and Korea were the target countries 44 percent of Iranian-made products was transported in the quarter
